Well Dillon’s USMTS debut was a rough one but gained a lot of valuable experience.  In hot laps he would roll a tire off on the first lap gaining zero knowledge of the new track.  Dillon would start outside pole next to former USMTS National Champion Tim Donlinger.  On the start Dillon would fall in behind Donlinger as the two ran bumper to bumper for the first two laps.  He would then try to make a move on the inside of Donlinger allowing a car to get by him on the outside.  At the half way point with the top 5 battling hard Dillon, Clyde Dunn, and Jason Hughes would make contact causing him to spin.  With a hurt race car there wasn’t much he could salvage and finished the heat race in 6th position.  That would put him starting 9th in the B-Main, While charging hard to get the top 5 transfer spot the u joints on the drive shaft broke causing it to come out and ending the night for the 03 team.  With the knowledge gained the team is looking forward to racing at Cowtown Speedway this coming weekend to run in the Cowtown Gobbler 90.
